This particular trip was to the beautiful beach area at Pallarenda which is located at my hometown of Townsville NQ Australia.
Pallarenda is 35-45 min from my house and is the location of some very old quarantine buildings which were also used in world war 2 as hospital buildings.
The buildings were located on Magnetic Island originally and then moved to Townsville mainland sometime around 1915.
There is some great sites in the area to see including old gun emplacements and grave sites not to mention the million dollar views of the ocean and magnetic island.
